Obtaining this double certification is the culmination of work carried out by our teams to give concrete shape to APL’s capacity and commitment to implementing a continuous improvement process to:
- Guarantee the satisfaction of its customers and the quality of its services;
- Develop and structure its activities to support its strong growth;
- Enhance its attractiveness and the commitment of its employees;
- Reduce the environmental impact of its customers’ data centers and its activities;
- Be a player in eco-innovation on its market with a sustained R&D policy.
This project was set up with the support of our responsible digital department, which assists our customers in their certification process.
Demonstrate operational excellence
As part of the strong growth of its activities, APL embarked on an ISO 9001 certification process to certify the quality of its customer project and internal project management processes in order to guarantee the satisfaction of its customers and employees.
“We have been experiencing an acceleration in our development over the past few years. We needed to structure our processes and implement a quality management system to attest to the quality of our services to our customers, but also to enhance our attractiveness and attract new employees,” explains Robert Bouchard, President of APL Data Center.
Reduce the environmental impact of its clients and its activities
Through its “Organic Design” mission, APL has set itself the objective of reducing the environmental impact of data centers throughout their lifecycle: choice of location, sizing, design, construction, operation, and dismantling. The consulting and engineering firm notably invests 4% of its turnover in R&D on projects to reconcile the digital transition and ecological transition.
“ISO 14001 certification is a concrete expression of our ongoing efforts to improve the environmental performance of digital technology and our business,” said Christophe Weiss, Managing Director of APL Data Center.
